Wow! Lilith come home to Mama!! She will be the first one in my cart. I adore the other 2 actually so this will be a full meal deal for me this year. I wish Lilith had a different color variant of hair. Would have been kind of cool to have a darker turquoise or something but as it stands, the photos make it appear that Lilith has a slightly darker and bluer lavender than Eden. It could just be lighting in the photos but will only be able to tell in hand. Also, Lilith’s outfit isn’t a “WoW” like Eden’s was but…I figure the pieces will complement Eden’s nicely. I am seriously loving the pink shoes and jewelry!! Thank you Jessy!
Is it just me or is someone else humming boogie woogie bugle boy when looking at Eugenia? Love the military vibe going on there. I also like the adorable school girl look going on with this brown haired, scarlet lipped Poppy. That hat we have seen a gazillion times but the adorable crimson backpack, knee socks and sporty black fingerless gloves brought this Poppy to my shopping cart.

New Jason Wu Elyse Announced!
Yesterday the WClub announced a new exclusive lottery during it’s week long Dolly Days extravaganza. We have a new Jason Wu designed Elyse people! She will, sadly, be an IT direct right to buy lottery with an edition size of a paltry 450. Mud pit time. Many will happily enter the pit for this one.

I really wished they had showed the back view of her hair. It looks like a french twist….I am guessing though. If it is…divine!!
Holy hand grenades people!!! The dress has pockets!!! {no judgment for the Monty Python reference either please LOL!}
This facial screening reminds me of J’Adore La Fete Elyse.
Not sure what the Pre Fall 2016 name is all about. After scouring the released photos of his prefall 2016 line I could find no reference to this design. Some super sleuths over at the WClub forums did find this though…
Kate Bosworth in Jason Wu at a red carpet in 2016. This definitely appears to be the inspiration. Doesn’t appear to have ever been produced except as this one off. Very pretty on Ms. Bosworth and beautiful on Elyse as well. Well played Mr. Wu!!!
For you WClub members who want to try for this one, your deadline is January 6th, 2020 at noon EST.

The Elyse Chronicles: Daywear to Nightwear
The Bergdorf Goodman Elsye in the navy pants and yellow and navy sweater is clearly a daywear look. To me it is VERY Sonya Rykiel and while I loved the turban on the real life fashion, I don’t feel it translated well to 1/6 scale.
Perhaps the turban will be put to good use elsewhere in my collection…that remains to be seen but…I needed to transform this Elyse from daywear to eveningwear.
Talk about DRAMA!
Model: Bergdorf Goodman Elyse Navy Pant
Gown: And Another Thing Kyori gift set by Integrity Toys
Jewelry and Shoes: Malefique Elyse
Love the short slicked back hairstyle and the facial screening on this one.

The Integrity Toys WClub is going out with a bang this year and collectors are standing and clapping with joy at the finale. They just released their final club doll and all I can say is…sign me up for some Fame and Fortune!! Hats off to Jessy Ayala who designed this Wclub year ending smorgasbord!!!

Daywear look for the MOTHER of all giftsets!
You had me at the luggage Jessy…AT..THE..LUGGAGE. The gloves helped too
Oh…my…word!! That face!! I die.
And in case the Daywear look isn’t your cup of tea…Jessy included a night look, IN PINK!
And in case you were not inspired by the clothing…the accessories are TO DIE FOR!!
But wait people…there is still more!! A sultry ultra evening look for the boudoir
This is all in one humongous giftset!
How do many collectors feel about this???
Yep…that is me…the lady in red above and to be honest I would be slamming it down on the counter too with a definitive “YASSSSS”. Vanessa might not be my favorite face mold but THIS Vanessa for me is “all that and a bag of chips”. Many are lamenting the increased price tag and I get that. She is more expensive, true. She also comes with three separate and amazing looks and …LUGGAGE!! I guess my threshold for being willing to pay more is, luggage. I don’t think I’m alone
Preorder for this lovely is open to WClub members UNTIL JANUARY 19TH, 2018 AT NOON EASTERN TIME!

The Power of Pink Continues…
Yep…not ready to let go of the pink theme this week and I am sticking with the same designer as well. As we approach this years Integrity Toys convention, I though I would pull out one of my favorite gift dolls from last years convention…Paper Doll Poppy Parker.
From Rimdoll on Etsy
Love this Poppy and love this pink confection of a dress!

The Sleeper has Awakened
Ok..I have to admit the title was for all you “Dune” geeks out there LOL! This line may be from the book and movie “Dune” but we have a bit of a sleeper situation going on in the Poppy Parker Bon Bon collection. Her name is Night at the Ballet Poppy Parker and she has turned out WAY better than the promo shots.
Here is what we were expecting…
Not bad but I have to admit…she was my least favorite in the whole lineup and I almost didn’t order her. Boy oh boy am I glad I did because this is what arrived on Saturday. Check out the gorgeous green eyes on this lady!

Couple things to note:
1) The hair on my doll needed a little tweaking after I took the hair net off. It didn’t take too much to put it all back in order.
2) The necklace is just gold, no stones. This seems kind of weird to me as the bracelet has beautiful blue stones in it but there you go. It looks like it should have a few stones in the necklace or it looks like there was space for it but there aren’t any. Don’t know if this is an oversight or just a last minute budget cut but a number of people have commented on FB that they don’t have any stones in their necklaces either so I don’t think it’s just me. The promo shots of the accessories don’t really show the necklace that well so it may have been intended to be just plain gold all the way along. Just wanted to make people aware.
Huge thanks to my dealer Barb at Windy City Dolls for getting these new Poppy’s to me so quickly!! You are the best.
Let the redressing and photographing begin!!!

A Picnic in Paris
Now that Integrity Toys has announced their collections and all of our collector wallets are sad and limping, I thought it was time to return to Paris for some fun. If I was returning to Paris, Ms. Poppy was going to join me. This new “Ooh La La” Poppy Parker is my current muse and I am loving the giftset mix and match options.
You have to love rement!

2016 Integrity Toys – The <3 MLP™ Collection
Yes indeedy. Integrity Toys has obtained licensing through Hasbro to bring you a collection inspired by favorite My Little Pony characters. Now…I am going to admit right off the bat… I was never a collector of my little pony. They were after my time. My daughter, however, was a huge fan. Even though I may not be in the market to collect or purchase this collection, I can appreciate the time and though that went into it. Jessy Ayala is a new designer with Integrity Toys and this is his first full collection with the company. As I listened to the thought and attention he brought to each and every item, I was extremely impressed. Well done Jessy!
Things you need to know if you want to buy:
1) This is IT direct product which means you go directly to Integrity Toys to purchase
2) Super limited edition sizes of 500 per doll. WClubbers will have first dibs on these then they will be offered up to general public. See each doll for approximate release date
HASBRO and its logo, MY LITTLE PONY and all related characters are trademarks of Hasbro and used with permission.

Now that is a colorful collection that embodies the fun of these ever popular toys.
Ooh La La Indeed!!
The WClub Poppy Parker Exclusive arrived just after I returned from Barbiecon a few weeks ago. As with most conventions, I have spent the last couple of weeks going through my acquired treasures and getting over “The convention cold”. When you put around 1,000 people together in a ballroom for multiple events, and these same people get on average 4-5 hours of sleep a night…there is bound to be illness. So… now I am on the mend, I managed to snap some images of this new Poppy Parker and get them ready for the blog.

This one comes to this collector WAY better than the promo shots promised. And the promo shots were pretty darn good. She is simply stunning! Love, Love, Love her.
Love the accessories with this giftset! Lot’s of mix and match options.
I recently had a new logo designed for my main photography business and wanted to try it out on some of the doll shots too. Not too bad Thank you Daniel at Photologo!!
For those of you awaiting the beginning of the series of posts on the blogging and doll photography presentation I did at Barbiecon…fear not. It should be up starting this Friday, August 19th. For those of you who did attend the class, the images in this post were taken using the “light bouncing” technique I talked about.
Chinoiserie
Ok…so many of you readers realize I am a little obsessed with my new Jon Copeland-Childers Poppy Parker repaint right? Another thing I was recently obsessed with was this pink chinoiserie backdrop I did. The apple green eyes of this lovely model inspired this setting and the chance to use this amazing backdrop. Hope you enjoy!

Lavender Luxury
Easter weekend is upon us and everything is coming to life in the garden again. The trees are all blooming pink and white, the daffodils are up and the lilacs are on the way. Life is good. With this symphony of pastels booming in the yard, I had to do something in the studio to celebrate it. I had the perfect model in mind too. Recently, I sent the lavender haired Mood Changer Poppy Parker head over to Jon Copeland-Childers for a “spa” treatment and what he sent back to me had my jaw dropping.
Model: Integrity Toys WClub exclusive Mood Changer Poppy Parker repainted and restyled by Jon Copeland-Childers of SeloJSpa. Poppy has been re-bodied on FR2 body.
Suit, shoes and earrings: Integrity Toys Breathless Veronique
Fascinator hat: made by me with a scrapbook flower and a bit of birdcage veil
Fur: IT Le Smoking Adele
Luggage: Poppy Parker as Sabrina Most Sophisticated ( trim color has been altered via Photoshop)
Pin on suit: rhinestone fleur de lis purchased at Facets by Marcia
Here is what she looked like originally
There are spa treatments and then there are Jon treatments. I stand by the Jon treatment.
**Note** Before I get a gazillion questions, I have to declare here that the luggage I used is not OOAK. It is the set from the Poppy Parker Sabrina series but I have photo shopped the trim to lavender.
This suit is a favorite of mine. It is from the IT 2013 Premier Convention Collection. I was searching through some Edith Head sketches a couple months back and stumbled across what might have been the inspiration for this one.

To The Manor Born
I never saw the BBC show of this name but am interested in the phrase. It is believed to be originally from Shakespeare’s Hamlet and the actual line is “To the manner born“. Language and time have morphed this line into today’s “to the manor born” which essentially means someone born into affluence. The well known phrase “being born with a silver spoon in your mouth” is another example of similar meaning. Now…why am I going into this? Excellent question. When I first saw promo photos of Black Tie Ball Vanessa, my first thought was “This is a party girl and she is inebriated.” She had the half-open eyes of someone who has imbibed just a bit too much. When I opened the box and saw her in real life, my opinion changed a bit. I still saw the party girl but I thought it would be fun to portray her as the trust fund baby party girl. I love the platinum tresses on this lady and while the sleepy eyes kind of bother me, it definitely set my imagination flying and produced some fun shots. I have nothing to complain about…oh…except perhaps the skirt on the dress she came in. It doesn’t hang right. The jewelry, shoes and top of the gown are all exceptional though. Photos of Miss BTB Vanessa in her original gown are on my Flickr page.
The gown in these shots is by Eifeldolldress. Love it!!
For those interested in the set for these shots, here is the info:
Champagne glasses are exquisitely delicate and in correct scale. They are from Facets by Marcia.
Champagne bottle…have absolutely no idea where I got this. Most likely from a Gloria furniture set.
Bombé chest is a repainted plastic jewelry chest. My friend and artist Carolyn Grentz did this for me.
Gold chairs were custom ordered from China. You can find more like them here. Frankly though, you should just get ahold of some Barbie Fan Club chairs from this year and spray paint them gold…it would be cheaper.
Floral arrangement: Made by me of various silk and fabric flowers.
And this little adorable Maltese!! I found her on Etsy.

Poppy Parker Live from the Oscars Red Carpet!
Every time the Oscars roll around, I feel compelled to do some kind of red carpet or Oscar themed shoot. I have done Barbie getting dressed in her closet. I’ve done Barbie on her way to presenting the Oscar. I’ve done Barbie on the red carpet. I have yet to do any Integrity Toys, Inc products for the Oscar night festivities. Well…I’m going to fix that right now! Poppy Parker is going to the Oscars!
Model: Mood Changer Poppy Parker repainted and restyled by Jon Copeland-Childers of SeloJSpa ( she has been re-bodied on a FR2 body)
Gown: Pansak Charoentonphubal of Eifeldolldress
Jewelry: On Set ( gift fashion from 2015 I.T. Cinematic Convention)
Will try and have my red carpet picks and pans from the Oscars on Monday
Add, Mix and Stir!!
Integrity Toys and their WClub just announced the first release of 2016. It’s a capsule collection entitled “In The Mix” and it will certainly stir many collectors’ imaginations and open quite a few wallets and/or break bank accounts. According to IT’s marketing director, Alain Trembley, this Color Infusion offering was inspired by today’s music industry. It’s a smart, sexy street style of a capsule collection with lots of opportunities to mix and match within this or other collections.

Two things….two….pink jacket and thigh high black leather boots. Enough said.
For those of you not familiar with the Color Infusion line of dolls from Integrity Toys, they are 1/6 scale 12.5 inch fashion dolls. They differ from FR2, Nu.Face and Poppy in that their body type has different proportions and the foot size is larger. I am clarifying this because some of the clothing can be used on other 1/6 body types and some cannot. Their shoes are generally too big for other 1/6 dolls.
WHERE TO BUY: List of Integrity Toys dealers is here. WClub members had this information a full day ahead of this posting so if you are at all interested, I suggest you contact a dealer sooner rather than later. These items will be hot sellers.
Honestly, this collection has floored me. I am not and have not been a Color Infusion collector. I have seen this product line since it’s inception and it never really appealed to me….until now. It feels like they have taken this product line and elevated it about 5 levels. This is the hip urban street style that the Nu.Face line used to have. This is, I feel, the sassy fashion profile that collectors had been wanting to see but had not seen lately from Integrity. Thank you for listening I.T.!!! For the first time ever, I am contemplating dipping a toe in Color Infusion products. Vaughn Sawyer led the design team on this one. Mr. Sawyer, I tip my hat to you.
Power House Ayumi
I just received the first of three of the 2015 revamped NuFace line that I ordered. All I can say is she is stunning! The facial screening is absolutely beautiful in my opinion.
The shoe strings were too short for me to tie into a bow so I ended up knotting them in the back and tucking the ends into the shoes. Not a bad fix. It will be a pain to untie and redress though. The jewelry is simple but sturdy and appropriate given the very clean chic lines of the outfit. Love the red, red lips and simple and elegant facial screening. The hair was really good when I deboxed but I wanted the bangs to lie closer to the head so I did end up pinning the end of the swoop of her bangs so It would lay closer to the head. Looking forward to redressing this beauty.

Still trying to figure out the hair. Are those bangs? Not a deal breaker for me, I am sooooo buying. The look is straight off the catwalk too. The recent Nu.Face capsule collection took inspiration from Balmain and the design team at Integrity went back to the young and talented Olivier Rousteing for this offering. Here is a look from Balmain’s 2016 Resort collection.
The hand bag is Stella McCartney ( thanks to Rogier of Dutch Barbie World for this find!)
If you are a WClub member and interested in purchasing this set, you have until noon EST on Monday, October 19th to put down a deposit. Look for the link in your email.
I have to go dance to Lady Gaga now .
Integrity Toys Announces Revamped Nu.Face Collection
On Saturday, Integrity Toys released the first capsule collection from it’s very popular Nu.Face line in roughly two years. We had a little glimpse of the newly revamped line at the 2014 IT convention but that wasn’t nearly enough to satisfy the demand for this one. The new and improved line has Vaughn Sawyer’s love for color and edginess all over it. It appears that he and the team at Integrity went to the couture house of Balmain for inspiration and for the most part, it translated really well. A number of comments from collectors would indicate concern that the young, urban chic vibe was missing from this collection and I would have to agree. This collection while colorful and high fashion was not, in my humble opinion, street fashion. You judge for yourself. The edition sizes reflect the popularity of this line with a whopping 600-800 of each style. Don’t let the large number fool you though, these babies will sell out…if they have not already. I would believe this one is most likely already sold out at dealers. Giselle is a very popular face mold and this one is sure to please Giselle collectors. How did they do this top in 1/6 scale?!! Unbelievable.
