Vanessa might not be my favorite face mold but THIS Vanessa for me is “all that and a bag of chips”. Many are lamenting the increased price tag and I get that. She is more expensive, true. She also comes with three separate and amazing looks and …LUGGAGE!! I guess my threshold for being willing to pay more is, luggage. I don’t think I’m alone

Riviera Drama Revealed!!
Back in February, one of the WClub membership dolls was revealed in sketch form. Yesterday, her promo shots were revealed and it had many WClub members clapping their hands with joy. I am feeling an Elie Saab vibe here…the picture below is from his 2017 Resort collection. The fact that he used wedge shoes also with this look makes me think this was one of the inspirations for this look.
So…how do I feel about this reveal? I love the facial screening! Green eyes on a pale skinned raven Agnes…yummm! Also kind of happy they went with the nude lip. It feels very on trend for right now. This also makes her infinitely more re-dressable. I am thrilled that the jumpsuit isn’t black. I think jewel tones definitely fit with the “Riviera” theme. I adore the jewelry! What concerns me is the fabric shown. I don’t know if it flows like the original design does. It looks kind of stiff to me but then…that could just be the image and how the model is posed. Also…what is with this purse? Did they want to go for Christmas colors? I don’t think I would have chosen red. I may be in a minority here but I like the wedge shoes. It’s more casual and we don’t have shoes like this so if I want to dress this outfit up, I can certainly find a pair of black strappy sandals in my IT box. Also, I am hoping the hair isn’t too “crunchy” as in…stiff. It looks like it might be though. It does help with those annoying flyaways that I end up editing out in PS later anyway

Reckless Smoke and Mirrors
No…I’m not doing a current political climate op-ed. WClub members woke up to some much anticipated and exciting news. The highly anticipated lottery for Trouble Eden was announced. That alone would have people anxious and excited.
This was to be the final installment of the NU.Face™ Reckless collection….or so we thought. Integrity Toys and the WClub kicked up the heat however with their lottery announcement by adding the mother of all ginsu cutting knife moments.
But Wait There’s More!!
Many collectors were lamenting the fact that this Eden would be a lottery. It appears that the WClub was listening because they offered up a consolation prize to beat all consolation prizes for lovers of the twins. Yep…you guessed it, the WClub members were given the option to purchase ( purchase not another lottery!) a companion Lilith doll to this Eden…and she has left this collector with her jaw on the floor.

So…this year Integrity Toys and the WClub did things a little differently. They basically polled the 2016 WClub members to see what face mold, skin tone and hair color combination they would like to see in a club upgrade doll. They gave members a little over 2 weeks to vote and here are the results.
It would appear that the majority of members voted for a cream skin toned, raven haired Agnes. This was actually my vote so I’m kind of stoked to see the actual product. I have to admit…I am a little nervous about ordering a doll that I have only seen a sketch of but it is what I voted for so I’m in.
