I don’t think you need a translator to realize that this says Agnes is marvelous. For quite a while now, it has been an Integrity Toy’s WClub custom to offer up an “event doll” made available to members when they hold a webinar. It’s a nice little perk for members and it’s always in addition to the club dolls offered up as part of the WClub membership. You get the right to purchase this doll just for being a WClub member. Many collectors take advantage of this deal. The doll offered up for this years 2017 Nu.Face and Fashion Royalty collections was very special. Designed by Jessy Ayala again and according to his explanation was inspired by one of his favorite designers.

Riviera Drama Revealed!!
Back in February, one of the WClub membership dolls was revealed in sketch form. Yesterday, her promo shots were revealed and it had many WClub members clapping their hands with joy. You can read about the how this doll came to be here. It’s an interesting way to decide on a club doll. I am feeling an Elie Saab vibe here…the picture below is from his 2017 Resort collection. The fact that he used wedge shoes also with this look makes me think this was one of the inspirations for this look.
So…how do I feel about this reveal? I love the facial screening! Green eyes on a pale skinned raven Agnes…yummm! Also kind of happy they went with the nude lip. It feels very on trend for right now. This also makes her infinitely more re-dressable. I am thrilled that the jumpsuit isn’t black. I think jewel tones definitely fit with the “Riviera” theme. I adore the jewelry! What concerns me is the fabric shown. I don’t know if it flows like the original design does. It looks kind of stiff to me but then…that could just be the image and how the model is posed. Also…what is with this purse? Did they want to go for Christmas colors? I don’t think I would have chosen red. I may be in a minority here but I like the wedge shoes. It’s more casual and we don’t have shoes like this so if I want to dress this outfit up, I can certainly find a pair of black strappy sandals in my IT box. Also, I am hoping the hair isn’t too “crunchy” as in…stiff. It looks like it might be though. It does help with those annoying flyaways that I end up editing out in PS later anyway

So…this year Integrity Toys and the WClub did things a little differently. They basically polled the 2016 WClub members to see what face mold, skin tone and hair color combination they would like to see in a club upgrade doll. They gave members a little over 2 weeks to vote and here are the results.
It would appear that the majority of members voted for a cream skin toned, raven haired Agnes. This was actually my vote so I’m kind of stoked to see the actual product. I have to admit…I am a little nervous about ordering a doll that I have only seen a sketch of but it is what I voted for so I’m in.

As David Buttry told us at the last IT convention, Poppy is headed to London in the 60’s. This lady certainly embodies that! I love that she has this lovely brown hair. While the 60’s are not a time period that I like to collect fashion wise, I can still appreciate the design and aesthetics of this Poppy. Love her white gloved hands and jaunty hat. Thumbs up David!

You have to love these giftsets and check out the dual stand!! I have not seen that before. I am completely digging the case with this one too. Very chic and elegant. I adore the sleek platinum blond ponytails and red, red lips. I am also a big fan of the cream skin tone and it looks like Agnes has it for this set. Hope to see these girls sometime before the end of the year. Integrity Toys thanked Jason and Vaughn for this offering in their release email . This collector thanks them too!

Is it redress or re-dress?? Could not come up with a consensus so I just published anyway. This Agnes is stunning! The re-dressing ( again…not sure if I am using the right spelling) potential is high for this one. She can go casual chic or uptown haute couture very easily. She is very much the Baroness here. I need to get her a little 1/6 Louis Vuitton passport cover .
