Jessy Ayala is helming this years entire Fashion Royalty collection as well and he has done a remarkable job. While he brought out the youthful, edgy and stylish designs for Nu.Face he has also managed to master high fashion, Chic and refined for the Fashion Royalty 2018 line. Using many of the same inspirations as Nu.Face he has given collectors “Sacred Lotus”. There are regal along with bold moments in this cohesive collection but the one word I keep coming back to is “sophisticated”.

That face!! That color!! Goddess indeed! I have always been partial to Tatyana’s facemold. I adore those cheekbones just like I do in Elyse. I love that Jessy chose bright green peridot for the stones on the jewelry to go with the tomato red of this sari inspired dress. If you like jewelry, this entire collection is for you. There is more than enough mix and match pieces to go around.
It looks like Jessy may have gone to the runway for inspiration as well though not Gucci. This one appears to come from a few years back (2013 Spring RTW) and the talented ladies at Marchesa.

Sooooo Elegant! The short silver hair sold this doll for me but the turban was the icing. Also love the refined tones in this entire package…reds, greys, aubergine with gold….yummy. This Natalia is fierce elegance. Add in a cape and a turban and you have a fashion superhero. Actually, all those bracelets may in fact ward off bullets. 
I could have sworn this cape was inspired by Valentino but alas…I have no fashion inspiration on this one.

What is not to like about this giftset…other than it’s a lottery. Well crap! I love the dark skin toned Vanessa on this and the outfit is super chic but the accessories really steal the show in my opinion. The shoes! EEEEE!! And, thanks to the super sleuths on the WClub forums, we know that the bag is inspired by the Chloé Nile Minaudière bag. As the life size bag goes for roughly $1500, this is the closest I will ever get to it.
Also, the pants have a wrap style belt that appears to be inspired by Haider Ackerman (2018 spring RTW)

Integrity Toys 2018 Reveal: East 59th Cocktail Collection
Even though the actual collection is not called the “cocktail” collection the designer Chris Stoeckel affectionately referred to it as such in Saturday’s webinar…so I’m going with that. Chris shared that his inspiration was Dior and the fashions of the 1950’s. He also shared that the fabrics he found really guided him on this collection. I have to say that nobody tailor’s a garment like Chris. His attention to that is impeccable and one of the reasons I adore this line so much.

Oh my word!! You had me at the polka dot ascot but then you had to go and add a cheroot!!! Ok…so Mai Tai’s are a particular favorite of mine given my family and I vacation in Hawaii a lot. It’s no surprise that the name alone had me interested. The doll itself with her auburn locks and swooped bangs are exquisite. I adore the boat necked striped day dress as well as the sunny short set and jacket. Add in those fantastic wedge sandles and charm braclet and this doll has it all. The Mai Tai helps too.

What is it about this color?!!! I just go gooey inside. I am not the only one either…there have been studies done on this Tiffany blue color and it’s just one that people have a strong response to on average. I can’t even quantify how much I love this gown . The elegance of it plus the grace of a brunette Evelyn wearing it just makes my heart sing. The story card for this doll states that the gold gift box is empty for a reason…there is another story there to be told. Looks like a champagne bottle box to me . This was first doll in the shopping cart for me from this collection but frankly…they all ended up in the cart by the end of the presentation.

First question…where is the Americano cocktail?? LOL! Guess she knocked it back and is well on her way or perhaps that is where she is headed after a day of shopping. I have to admit, my first thought was not a cocktail but in fact a cup of “Americano” coffee when I saw the name of this doll. Don’t judge…I’m from Seattle and coffee is a religion here. So my thinking was a delicate cup of espresso would have been perfect here. I’m planning on adding it. Drinks aside, the accessories are to die for. That Birkin bag…faint. The shoes with the cut outs…swoon. The additional white shirt to wear under the sheath….brilliant!! The little box of cannoli…ok I’m done…who do I throw the money at for this doll.

She’s back!! And…fortified with a bottle of fine gin. 
LOL…ok so I was very surprised (pleasantly so) to see Miss Victoire making her comeback before the IT convention. Technically she will indeed arrive after the convention but to have pictures of the new face mold before the convention was nice. I’m not sure how I am feeling about this new “updated” face mold. She is definitely younger and I’m still trying to figure out how I feel about it. The fashion though is wonderful! How yummy is this brocade?!! Absolutely love that she is a redhead in this version and coupled with this blue brocade…fabulousness.
Love the playability and wonderful accessories in this line. The vibrant colors and rich storylines work well together. Hats off to Mr. Chris Stoekel and his eye for details and historical couture fashion. How he manages to translate some of the iconic 1950’s fashion trends into 1:6 scale is beyond me. He has a gift.

Wow!! Festival of colors is definitely represented here! As with the previous The Industry collection, I again give credit to the designer for his attention to the details. The plethora of jewelry and the addition of interesting glasses is a plus. While this collection does not fit in with what I personally collect, I can appreciate the thoughtful and cohesive designing that went into this collection. I love that Jessy paired these very edgy designs with soft facial screenings on many of the ladies. I also loved the very edgy screenings on Annik and Violaine.
I would also like to take a moment and say a big “Thank You!” to the marketing department and their decision to include images with more natural lighting on the closeups and accessories. That really makes a difference to buyers and it was thoughtful to include them. I loved the edgy lighting …very clublike…on bulk of the images but I really appreciated that they included normal light shots for those collectors that were interested in buying and wanted to see the true colors of the makeup and accessories. Thank you!

From boots to bag, this one has it all for me. The glasses were a nice detail add and the thing that pushed me over the edge and got me to add this one to my wish list from my dealer. For me, the added value was that he is sooooo Pacific Northwest. Had to try and buy.
So that wraps up the images from The Industry Lovesick Collection. While it is not what I collect, I loved the vibrant color combos and nod to recent Gucci runway shows. I also loved all the additional little details Mr Buttry added in…particularly the glasses. I don’t know about other collectors but for THIS collector, it’s those little “value adds” that push me from a “ well I like it” to an “I have to have it”. As a collector, it makes me so happy…as a business person, it makes sense as a business move. All around good!
Also, it was really nice to see David bringing back some favorite characters from discontinued lines. It shows he is listening to the collectors and that is always a good thing.

I don’t think you need a translator to realize that this says Agnes is marvelous. For quite a while now, it has been an Integrity Toy’s WClub custom to offer up an “event doll” made available to members when they hold a webinar. It’s a nice little perk for members and it’s always in addition to the club dolls offered up as part of the WClub membership. You get the right to purchase this doll just for being a WClub member. Many collectors take advantage of this deal. The doll offered up for this years 2017 Nu.Face and Fashion Royalty collections was very special. 2017 Fashion Royalty Collection Revealed!!
Yep…you see it in the logo above, this years collection is about the woman. As an added treat for collectors, Integrity Toys gave Jessy Ayala the drivers seat in this years FR collection. The theme seems to have been set with the initial WClub offering earlier this year of Riviera Drama Agnes. While Jessy may be taking the theme of bold colors and super chic from the Riviera, there are some definite detours. He has taken the theme and used it to celebrate femininity…in it’s romantic iterations as well as it’s strength. He ends with the power suit to end all power suits. I love the doll on this one…let me just put that out there. Beautiful auburn hair on cream skin tone with soft facial screening and a Vanessa 3.0 sculpt. What is not to love about that. The outfit…well..it’s not my favorite..and not really getting a Riviera vibe either. I adore the accessories. The shirt with the bow detailing…love. I am not sure I would pair it with the black lace skirt and I for sure would not throw an animal print wrap over the top of it. This outfit was the weakest showing IMO of the entire line. I like the components, just not together. The sweatheart topstitch on the shirt gives it almost a western feel so not sure where that fits into this high glamour Riviera feel Jessy has going.

Holy flippin’ Zorro people!! I believe I fainted when I saw this one…then recovered quickly and put this doll as #1 on my buy list. What do I start with…That color on Adele…brilliant!! The scarf with the hat…inspired! The belted suit….sublime!! The accessories…perfection!! The facial screening…sultry and strong….LOVE!! This was IMO the strongest look of this collection. My only complaint is not sure how this fits in with a Riviera theme. It’s definitely showcases strong and feminine but not necessarily Riviera chic. Doesn’t change the fact that I am buying it though
My poor, poor wallet!!!
But wait folks…there is more! What collection is worth their salt without a lottery item. Yes…another lottery. I admit, kind of feeling the lottery fatigue with this one.

Whattttt!!!! Yep…you see it with your own eyes. This doll will come with two sets of bottom legs ( knee to foot). One with be high arched foot like normal and other will be newly engineered flat foot option with hinged ankle..very Poppy like. I love that they are giving us both options!! And…it’s a lottery doll of course. CRAAAAAPPPPP!!
And it looks like Balenciaga got invited to this party too.
Oh my!! A tanned Elyse!! Again I hope the lottery Gods are kind. There is a high edition size on this one so that’s at least comforting. Now this lady is definitely on theme for the Riviera. She just needs a Pucci scarf to tie around the swimsuit. Love this duel bottom leg concept too. Makes it very versatile. Another point that I didn’t make in this or the previous blog post about Nu.Face was the fact that these bodies don’t have the waist joint so there is this very smooth waist on them and it allows to show off the midriff without that pesky joint. Very nice.
I am so happy to see the uber talents of Jessy Ayala displayed in not one but two different collections this year. I feel his strongest showing was definitely in the Nu.Face line but the young man has some serious fashionista styling when it comes to the FR big hitters. While the cohesiveness might not have been as strong in the FR line as Nu.Face it still packed a punch with some really stellar moments. This collection’s Adele will be talked about for years and years. I would also like to give Integrity Toys and it’s design team a big thumbs up for the improved diversity in this line.
So, as I have said before, if you are at all interested in these lovely’s, contact your IT authorized dealer sooner rather than later.
OOAK Doll Festival–Friday Dinner
After the sales room frenzy of Friday afternoon, many attendees headed to Mood Fabric in the garment district and if they had time, stopped off at M&J Trimming. I did not attend that outing but many did and had a marvelous time.
The evening event was the Platinum Party Dinner where we all paid tribute to the amazing and creative talents of Gianni Grossi and Mario Paglino who make up the stellar team of Magia 2000. Here they are with Rocky Schmidt the fabulous organizer of this truly one of a kind festival.
There was a table centerpiece…which all of us wanted but only 10 lucky ducks won. Yours truly and her blogging cohort Rogier…were not lucky ducks this evening 
There was also a collection of Magia 2000 creations that were brought and shared by various attendees. It was such a treat to see so many beautiful creations from Magia 2000 past collections. Wish I had time to photograph all of them in the studio!
Once you stopped salivating over the Magia’s…it was time to vote on your favorite “unconventional material” OOAK dolls. Each attendee was given a ticket to vote on their favorite Magia and their favorite unconventional material doll.
There were many creative entries for unconventional materials. In the end…Rogier was 2nd runner up for his masterful concoction. The winner of the competition was an adorable whimsical design and excellent use of pastel confetti material!
The winner of the favorite collector Magia 2000 was this one. Breathtaking!
After a lovely dinner, it was time to unveil the Magia 2000 official convention doll. Each attendee received one! She was an instant favorite. Her name is Manhattan Premiere.

For those of you who follow me on FB and Instagram, you received a little sneak peek of today’s post this past weekend.
Tomorrow, I am flying to Chicago for the 2016 Integrity Toys Convention. Hilda Westervelt of Bellissima Couture and I will be having an event on Wednesday evening to sell fabulous OOAK clothing creations by Hilda and a variety of 1/6 items made by me and my fellow blogger Rogier Corbeau of Dutch Fashion Doll World. For place and time, check the boards at convention. We will be placing signage as soon as we have a room number. We will also be at the sales bazaar on Friday evening.

It’s Party Time
Everyone in the fashion world has their eyes turned toward Paris right now for the culmination of the 2017 Spring Summer Ready to Wear shows and I thought, “what does one do at the end of fashion week?”. If it were me, I would want to celebrate so that is the inspiration behind this group of photos. Well…that and a killer sparkle dress from Rimdoll.

There was another item besides the gown that I was inspired by. Those of us who attended last years Integrity Toys convention were a bit hmmmm…lets just say underwhelmed by the convention doll last year. Her name was ‘Making an Entrance’ Karolin Stone and she was a severe looking lady with a major broad forehead. Not the most attractive look in my opinion.
I really liked her facial screening but I was all ready to sell this one when I saw an image of a restyled Karolin on Rimdoll’s Etsy site. I decided to change course and see if I could soften her look a bit. Here is what I ended up with and I have to say…I am very happy 
.
She still has the wide forehead but at least it’s softened up by the roll of bangs.

You have to love these giftsets and check out the dual stand!! I have not seen that before. I am completely digging the case with this one too. Very chic and elegant. I adore the sleek platinum blond ponytails and red, red lips. I am also a big fan of the cream skin tone and it looks like Agnes has it for this set. Hope to see these girls sometime before the end of the year. Integrity Toys thanked Jason and Vaughn for this offering in their release email . This collector thanks them too!
