Integrity Toys 2018 Reveal: The Industry Lovesick Collection

Hello!  It’s good to be back after a long hiatus.  I am resurrecting the blog with exciting news out of Integrity Toys.  They revealed their 2018 collections for 4 separate product lines this past Saturday and I am excited to share them.  Let’s get started!

Well bring on the Gucci!  Possible inspirations for this line comes straight from the recent runway…in particular, Gucci Prefall 2017.  The vibrant  colors and 70’s/80’s influences had me thinking Gucci with the first image.  Research into the runway shows of the past couple of years confirmed it.  If you like youthful ,colorful and eclectic, you will love this collection by David Buttry.

Integrity Toys or more specifically their designers are really stepping up their game.  The accessories are just getting more and more detailed with each collection.  That purse with the tassels…I DIE!

From boots to bag, this one has it all for me.  The glasses were a nice detail add and the thing that pushed me over the edge and got me to add this one to my wish list from my dealer.  For me, the added value was that he is sooooo Pacific Northwest.  Had to try and buy.

So that wraps up the images from The Industry Lovesick Collection.  While it is not what I collect, I loved the vibrant color combos and nod to recent Gucci runway shows.  I also loved all the additional little details Mr Buttry added in…particularly the glasses.  I don’t know about other collectors but for THIS collector, it’s those little “value adds” that push me from a “ well I like it” to an “I have to have it”.  As a collector, it makes me so happy…as a business person, it makes sense as a business move.  All around good!

Also, it was really nice to see David bringing back some favorite characters from discontinued lines.  It shows he is listening to the collectors and that is always a good thing.
