It’s Alive!!!
Well, what else can I say…life got busy and then busier. You would think the pandemic would have been prime time to get the blog going again. It was indeed the plan but alas, plans don’t pan out. I’m still here. I still collect. I still take photographs of my dolls ( although not a lot in the past couple of years). Why am I blogging today you ask. Well, my good friend Hilda Westervelt ( Bellissima Couture) have cooked up a collaborative Holiday collection and I wanted to share. It felt good to pick up the camera and create again. I think I will try to do more of it in 2023.
It’s full on holiday spirit in the studio. If you are interested in any of these beautiful outfits, contact Hilda Westervelt at hildaewestervelt@gmail.com for prices and particulars. There are 6 fashions for sale. The little Amaryllis plants and paperwhites are available as well. They are $40/ plant. They are made by me ( I enjoyed paper gardening during the pandemic) from paper, wire and ink. For those of you who own some of my miniatures, you are aware that I like to pay attention to detail. I am happy with how these turned out.
On to the photos….
Wishing everyone a very Happy Holiday!! Hope to post more soon.

Summer Kisses–The Outfits and Accessories
If six dolls were not enough to choose from, there is literally a fire hose rate of options in fashions and accessories with this collection. There are 18….yes…18 outfit choices this time around plus 4 shoeliscious accessory sets. Get ready for some sticker shock though. These outfit are not cheap people. Each one will run you $110 ( accessory sets are priced at a whopping $125). The accessory sets do come with 3 sets of shoes plus 3 bags so priced out that is $21/ item. If these shoes are anything like last release, then they are very good quality shoes that fit not just these ladies but other 1/6 ( primarily FR) dolls as well.
Calling all redressers…if you are the one of the collectors who have been calling on Integrity Toys to come out with more outfits, this may be one of the answers for you. I realize the price point may be a little high. I have to say though, the few accessory sets and outfit I ordered from previous collection was HIGH END. From the packaging to the quality and fit of the items…HIGH END. The price on these does not surprise me. I leave it to the collector to determine if this is a reflective price. For me…I’m buying. I’m not buying it all ( don’t currently have a money tree) but I am buying.
Here is a little bit more about the incredibly talented designer bringing us collectors all this beauty.
This collection will be available online until May 31st or until Edition numbers sell out. Each item list the edition number. All items are pre order and will be shipping end of July/August. Most fashio edition sizes are 80 and accessory sets are 50. You have 2 payment options with these. You can put down deposit ( $30) and pay balance when item comes in or pay in full up front. The looks are made for JAMIEshow 12" Muse dolls but will also fit Integrity Toy, and Mattel Barbie Silkstone and other dolls that are 12". Wow! Right?!! Owen Su has been known in the 1/6 collector community for quite some time for his amazing high end evening couture creations. It is lovely to see him unfurling his wings into daywear and cocktail looks.
There are 4 amazing accessory sets as well. If you like shoes and bags for your 1/6 divas….then these are for you. It looks like the edition size is slightly smaller for these sets at only 50 instead of the 80 edition size for the outfits. If you click on the pictures, you will be taken to the site.

There are a ton of goodies to explore here so feel free to head on over to JAMIEshow to shop or just to dream a little. It is exciting to see this new product line in the 1/6 collecting arena. I am looking forward to seeing what they will do. I know many of us are hoping that Mr. Su will show us more of his couture origins for these diminutive divas soon, and I’m sure he will not disappoint. So much to look forward to!!

Giselle in the Flowers
Wow!! Do I even know how to do this anymore? {snort}. I’m not going to lie people…it felt like rusty gears starting to work again setting up for this photo shoot and getting it done. When all was said and done, I have to honestly say…”Dag it felt good!!”
I have always been a fan of Vogue style editor Grace Coddington and her work. When I first had the idea for this image, I thought of her and her styling and went from there. I had to use this glorious background and then I needed natural light. For those who follow me on Instagram, I teased a few photos there.
Here are a couple quick behind the scene shots and a little peak at my new studio space….will be sharing more of that through the holiday season .
And after some post production magic…this is what we have.
I think this Giselle was the breakout hit from last years Integrity toys convention. Many people had difficulty seeing past the the retinal searing yellow outfit she sported. I have to admit, I almost didn’t get her. But then I took a second look at her soft makeup palette and decided, “yeah…I can work with that”. Believe it or not, I had an image in my mind close to this final floral image when I first bought her over a year ago. Yes…I really do have images sitting in my head that long and longer before I can get it on film. So often, it never gets rendered. I was happy to get it and bring it forth today. Hope you all enjoy.

The Power of Pink Continues…
Yep…not ready to let go of the pink theme this week and I am sticking with the same designer as well. As we approach this years Integrity Toys convention, I though I would pull out one of my favorite gift dolls from last years convention…Paper Doll Poppy Parker.
From Rimdoll on Etsy
Love this Poppy and love this pink confection of a dress!

The Black and White Ball Gown
I had the hardest time coming up with a title for this post. Usually, something comes to me right away and that is what I go with. For these set of photos, nothing was jumping out at me so I asked myself “ What are these pictures about?”. The answer that came back to me was…the dress. These photos are primarily about this amazing black and white ball gown made by Eifeldolldress .
Model: Mood Changer Poppy Parker repainted and hair redone by Jon Copeland-Childers of SeloJSpa

Necklace: made by me
Gloves: Integrity Toys
A Passion for Pink
This title should be a weekly entry at Inside the Fashion Doll Studio…maybe it will be now that I have said it. I recently discovered the beautiful work of Antonio Realli and was very pleased to add one of his recent collection pieces to my ever growing 1/6 clothing hoard.
For those diorama artists out there, the flooring I used in these shots is a new contact paper I used found here. I love that it is super shiny like real marble. Love the reflection it gives of the gown! We are finally starting to get some sunshine in the Pacific Northwest. The forecast for the next week is SUNNY!! I will be taking advantage and photographing many projects.
Some of you have already noticed that I have started an Instagram account ( see sidebar to the right just under archives). Feel free to follow me there for sneaks of upcoming items or additional photos of some behind the scenes stuff. It’s my goal to post something daily there. A goal….to be reached at some point in the future.

March Purse of The Month
The sisters of La Boutique have been busy coming up with something exciting and new this month. Here are the scrumptious offerings for the month of March. If you are interested in ordering, please contact them at dianawieler@sympatico.ca. There is a very limited supply of the Mini Ricky bags due to its complexity. Delivery of these items may take a little longer this month as last months order backlog was larger than usual ( Thanks in part to readers/new buyers from this blog!). I have to say, these little pieces of heaven are worth the wait people. I have been collecting these for years and just can’t get enough of them. Thanks for supporting the community and these fine artisans!
And the glorious tote to go with it…Tote set is $30.
If you are looking for fashions, they have that too…
and if you really want to splurge this month, check out the Elite outfit!
“The Elite Ensemble this month is true City Chic. It begins with a dramatic long coat in grey and plum worsted wool, with a 2-color skirt to match. Underneath is a bright orchid bodysuit that goes beautiful with the tote scarf! Also included is an open-crown hat, grey belt, pewter shoes, earrings, Tote Set and your choice of handbag. 155.00 + shipping”
