Ok…so many of you readers realize I am a little obsessed with my new Jon Copeland-Childers Poppy Parker repaint right? Another thing I was recently obsessed with was this pink chinoiserie backdrop I did. The apple green eyes of this lovely model inspired this setting and the chance to use this amazing backdrop. Hope you enjoy!

Many collectors have face mold favorites. Many photographers have favorite models. For me as a collector and photographer, I can honestly say there are some dolls that seem to draw the lens and some that don’t. Great Pretender Lilith was and continues to be one of my favorite models. As collectors we also have those dolls that we go back and forth on as to whether we should purchase. I knew I loved the face on this doll. Her outfit was not my cup of tea though. I decided to go ahead and get her because I loved the soft makeup palette. I am so glad I made that purchase. I decided to put her hair up in a simple updo. She has such a regal high fashion look with the hair change. I adore it.

And…lest you think I only dress this doll in hot pink…here are some non pink shots.

But those were the only ones…then found some more hot pink shots. Too funny.

If you look up the translation for Dulcissima it says “Sweet” or “Sweetest”. I think this recent addition to the BFMC Alta Moda collection comes off as more sultry than sweet. However you see this one..sweet or sultry, she is a beauty. While her original Dolce and Gabbana inspired outfit may have not been my thing, dressing her in this Joe Tai bridal fashion definitely suited me and my collection.

I was shocked at how a simple updo changed the entire look of this doll. She is now one of my favorite models.

What this picture would look like as a Chanel ad…..

I have to admit, it took me a while to warm up to this face mold. The very cut angles of her face can give her a masculine feel in my opinion but the latest iteration Integrity Toys did of her is..in a word…STUNNING. Thanks to a really great doll friend, I was able to get a ticket to purchase Bare Essentials “Day” Dania Zarr at the Fashion Royalty Convention this past year. I love her face, hair and new body ( a vampire doll body I believe…not as busty as the Fashion Royalty line). She is a dream to restyle and I had to pull out the macro lens for this beauty as her face really is something else. Added to this beautiful doll, I was able to procure a white Joe Tai gown off of ebay. I am also excited about finally purchasing a De-Zyns by Joy jewelry set ( after drooling over her things for quite a while…finally broke down and bought). Oh..and the chairs!! LOVE them. Found them on ebay..see my source list for the link.
Models: Bare Essentials “ Day” Dania Zarr and 007 James Bond Ken
Gown: Joe Tai
Jewelry: De-Zyns by Joy ( http://de-zynsbyjoy.com/ )
Set: Wall panel by me. Flooring is miniature flooring paper. Candelabra…now that is a story…pewter candlestick with a new find. It’s called a cake candelabra. I need to spray paint it silver but I was so excited to use the thing I just threw it in there ‘as is’ LOL! I think the scale works well here. They are approx. $8.99 on various sites. Chairs are from Ebay ( http://stores.ebay.com/The-DIY-Dollhouse-Center?_rdc=1). They sell a number of different 1:6 scale items. All shipped very fast and well packaged.

LOVE Her face!!
