Barbie for big girls.

Lilith the Muse

Many collectors have face mold favorites.  Many photographers have favorite models.  For me as a collector and photographer, I can honestly say there are some dolls that seem to draw the lens and some that don’t.  Great Pretender Lilith was  and continues to be one of my favorite models.  As collectors we also have those dolls that we go back and forth on as to whether we should purchase.  I knew I loved the face on this doll.  Her outfit was not my cup of tea though.  I decided to go ahead and get her because I loved the soft makeup palette.  I am so glad I made that purchase. I decided to put her hair up in a simple updo.  She has such a regal high fashion look with the hair change.  I adore it.

  3. Beautiful photos, she looks so good in all of the fashions. Who made the first black and white outfit with the feather hat and stole? It looks like it’s made so well and I think the style is beautiful.

    • Thank you Jane! The first black and white photo outfit was made by James Bogue of Bogue’s Vogues. The hat was made by Matisse I believe. The stole is Dressmaker Details. 🙂

What a difference just a bit of a hair style change makes. All the pink plays so well to her coloring. The wardrobes changes go from demure, haute couture, all the way to sexy. Fabulous pictures.

    • Thank you so much style guru Bev! She is my “go to” model when I want elegant haute couture but you are right…she can rock the casual sexy look too.

  9. I love her hair! I have a lot of raggedy hair Barbies who could use your help. I have no FR….maybe one day. Those outfits are definitely drool worthy! These outfits are beyond awesome! I noticed even in the non-pinks you still had to have some somewhere in the photos. LOL At any rate, you do a great job in posing and photography also!

    • Heehee, you are right…there is always something pink in there isn’t there. Thank you for the lovely comments. I did a tutorial on how to do this hairstyle on the blog. Just search for “updo hair tutorial” and you will find it.
