Dear Lord David!!!  You are killing me here.  If you are starting off the year with this bit of scrumptious Bon Bon candy…I will die a happy contented Poppy Parker collector at the end of this WClub year.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE where you are taking Poppy this year.  Brigitte Bardot incarnate.  To my friend Matt Sutton…Yes, Rebecca’s brain just exploded.

My reaction?…

tumblr_lkjxss9eTr1qba78m

Oh yes again!!!  My poor, poor wallet is toast but Stefan and I are happy.  How amazing is this Imogen?!  Love the smoky eye and beautiful slightly tan Hungarian skin stone.  It’s so edgy chic!!  Perfect for the newly revamped and emerging Nu.Face line.

It looks like the Nu.Face team is going back to Balmain for inspiration here and can I just say…good call on NOT doing the ruffled pants.  Looks like there may be some Alexander MCQueen going on as well with all the skulls.

I don’t know about other WClubbers but this one is a happy, happy camper…one soon to be very poor happy, happy camper.

If you interested in becoming a WClub member or want to learn more, feel free to watch  IT’s video brochure here.  If you already know you want in…go to WClub website and follow the instructions.  I have been a member for many years and have never regretted it nor had any single problem with their website.  Deadline to sign up for 2016 WClub is 9 PM Eastern Time on February 16th, 2016

I am trying to decide if I want the Poppy in addition to the Vanessa. Last year was my first year in W Club and I went way overboard on Poppy in my excitement. I’ve never wanted a Vanessa before, but I want this one!

    • I had no restraint. I had to order all three. That Vanessa is amazing isn’t she?!!

    • Hello Sherri and welcome! I am not sure if I am understanding your question or not but Inside the Fashion Doll Studio is just a blog and best of all…No charge! The program I am talking about in this blog post is enrollment for Integrity Toys WClub and there is a cost to that. You can click on any of the pictures or any of the Integrity Toys links and it will take you to the WClub signup page it IT. All the information about how to become part of the club is there. Hope that helps.

  5. I joined. This will be my first year. I added Poppy Parker. I really love her and this outfit!!!

    • Congrats Heather! I hope you are as thrilled as I have been for the past 6 years. I am so jazzed about this year I can’t even stand it 🙂

      January 19, 2016 at 7:47 pm

  6. Enabler! Actually, I had planned to join this year anyway, but it is much more fun to blame you. Don’t you think Poppy needs a poodle to go with her bon bons? She and Imogen will both be coming to my house.

    • Welcome to the club Susan!! I absolutely think this Poppy needs a poodle. I hope Poppy lives up to your expectations this year but if she doesn’t, I’m sure you will blame me LOL! 😉

Thanks for the exciting review Rebecca! I also thought Vanessa’s ensemble needed a coat or jacket, although given the choice of a coat with a simple top underneath or that exquisite blouse sans jacket, I would pick the blouse every time. . . well, unless the coat/jacket was stunning, then I’d want it all. And I’m thrilled that the little extra bits and bobs are back as well. Honestly I don’t usually do anything with them though I still adore them. Sometimes they show up in a photo shoot but mostly they live in a box with other “tiny paper treasures”.

Poppy is gorgeous no doubt. And how cute is that record?!? I sure would love it if they gave us the smooth ankle bodies that they used on the IFDC anniversary Poppy dolls! Then I could die a happy collector.

The new Imogene sculpt is beautiful and her makeup is subtly chic. For those collectors wanting to put some of their Hungarian skin tone Poppies on a tall body, make sure to buy some extra Imogenes, as this skin tone doesn’t show up often! Personally I’d buy Imogene just to get my paws on the McQueenesque accessories!!!

    • Hi Laura! Yes, valid point about the shirt…it would be a hard one to cover up. I also laughed at your comment about where all the little things end up..but we love them anyway don’t we? I am going to make a “Tiny Treasure” box tomorrow. Did you see that they had the smooth foot Poppy bodies for sale in the sales room at convention this year? Hilda and I both picked one up. You might want to ask around on the WClub and see if anyone is willing to part with theirs. Good call on getting extra’s for body swaps.

  8. Kathryn

Do we have any idea what Jem doll they are coming out with?

    January 22, 2016 at 12:20 pm

    • Hi Kathryn, the only news that came out about Jem from IT was that we would be getting one exclusive Jem doll with WClub membership. Most likely they will have more information in the spring. Hopefully they will do a Spring webinar to announce the FR and Poppy line for 2016 and include information about Jem in that.

  9. They are beautiful! I love their facial screening – dark smokey eyes and neutral lips – nothing orangey or pinkish, thanks god (except on Poppy but it goes perfectly with her vichy printed dress). And I’m really glad they don’t have sanpaku eyes, those really bother me 🙂 And the skull jewelry is awesome!

    January 23, 2016 at 11:27 am

    • Hi Andreja! I am glad you are loving the new offerings as well. It looks like a great year for the WClub 🙂

  10. L.J.

Thanks for such great information about W club! I’ve been silkstone collector so far, I was wondering as you’ve been a member to W Club for many years, do you happen to know if they ship to Europe and with what cost? I read their rules, introduction to club- everything on their site, but couldn’t find that extremely important info nowhere! They only stated that everyone around the world can join, but do I need a shipping buddy for this club aswell??? I really love their new 2016 Brigitte inspired doll and I’m seriously considering joining! 🙂

    January 24, 2016 at 4:06 am

    • Hello L.J. That Poppy is so scrumptious isn’t she?!!! One of the best things about the WClub is that they do indeed ship to Europe. Shipping prices, if what I read on the forums is accurate, are competitive…as in similar to other things you have shipped from the US. Perhaps some other European readers can chime in here with other information you should consider. It will take longer to get to you and there are yucky customs to be paid but you don’t need a special shipping buddy. Feel free to contact their WClub liaison email from their website if you have further questions about shipping. The deadline for signup is February 16th.
