Doll Photography and Blogging: An Introduction
Today is the first part of a series of segments on Doll Photography and Blogging. I am rebroadcasting the presentation I did for the 2016 NBDCC and I hope you find some useful information in this series.

Feel free to post questions in this blog post about anything I have gone over. I will try to answer as best as I can. If there are many questions, I will just do another audio segment and answer all the questions before the next segment on the blog.

Wonderful to get to know you a little better! I love what you said about the community and I have to admit that when I started collecting, I felt really weird, wondering, “What am I doing with all these Barbie dolls?” Then I discovered the community and suddenly I realised that not only was I not alone, I was part of a wonderful group of incredibly creative people, including you!

I’m so excited to watch your video, it’s so nice to hear your voice and understand that’s not only a perfect professional blog, but a real lady who love dolls so much as I do. Can’t wait to watch more videos from you! It’s amazing when such a professional wants to share her experience and special tips. Personally I’d like to know more about how to start such a perfect dolly-blog: which platform to choose, how to get your readers, do you make commercial photoshoots?

Thank you so much for the lovely comment Alena! I am so happy people are enjoying the blog and also my rebroadcast of the presentation on photography and blogging. I will be answering some of your questions on blogging in the “blogging” section of my presentation. Feel free to ask more questions if I don’t answer your questions fully. I have done some commercial portrait and product photography photoshoots but mostly my photography business is in theater and performance photography.
