Barbie for big girls.

Cherry Pie Picnic

Bill Greening and Mattel have given the collecting community a fabulous start to a new series of dolls.  The series will be called “Willows, WI”.  It is a tribute to classic Americana and you can’t get more American than Apple or Cherry pie.  This one may be worth it for the little picnic basket alone…adorable!

She is truly darling and I adore the picnic basket and pie! Price is a bit steep, but I think you’re right, all the pieces that come in the mini picnic set, including the pie, kind of make it worth it. I think she will be coming home to mama ;).

The hair style isn’t really to my liking, and for whatever reason I am always hesitant to change dolls from their “original settings” (so to speak). It’s not like I sell anything, but I guess I hold out the possibility. Totally agree with the other posters that the picnic set makes it tempting. Maybe some enterprising buyers will sell it separately!
