Time for a Spring Fling…
…with Poppy Parker. As the light gets better in the Pacific Northwest of the US, it is imperative to take advantage of it. We had a few sun rays the other day so I had to grab my camera and a few models ready to show off some spring colors.
Model: Sweet in Switzerland Poppy Parker
Shirt, Skirt, belt and shoes: Fashion Royalty Spring Forward Eugenia
Hat: Barbie Basics hat that I refashioned into something completely different. {You have to imagine John Cleese saying that}.
Quick behind the scenes look
She is SO beautiful, with a wistful expression, and such lovely eyes! She is wearing such a gorgeous AND springtime fashion – I love it! I also think your behind the scenes feature
is a nice touch! 🙂

Beautiful photography!! Sweet looking model. 🙂
It also helps to have the right equipment!! Wish I had those. But I DO have a sweet little Canon Power Shot G9 that I use for all of the photo shoots I do (for the dresses I make to sell on my Blog and Ebay). My hubby has equipment similar to yours as he used to be a professional photographer as well.

🙂 You will be happy to hear that the stand holding the reflector is actually a music stand I stole from my daughter’s practice corner. It works surprisingly well when I work in this window and for other projects. Sometimes I commandeer one of my kids to hold reflectors too….they just LOVE that. 🙂 Happy to hear you enjoyed the photos and happy to hear you are a fellow Canon user!

BTW – You mentioned before about never putting your Vanity Fair photo in a book – do you have a published book of your photography out there somewhere for sale?? And, if so, where can I look for it? 🙂

This is a most excellent question. I don’t have a book out….yet. There are roughly 3 different projects in process right now that may be using my photos so when there is more information, I will let people know on the blog.
