Hello 2014!
Ok, so the craziness is mostly over in our house. I don’t think I have entertained that much during the holidays in a very, very long time. Now the daunting task of taking down all the holiday décor is ahead of me. I did not think about that today though. Today, I grabbed my trusty point and shoot, one of my favorites from the Fashion Royalty convention and an outfit by a dear friend that I have been wanting to shoot since I got it.
Model: Interlude Monogram
Suit and hat: Bellissima Couture ( adorable little cameo was added by Hilda too )
Purse: Re-ment…..yes…it is absolutely true….Re-ment
O wow !!! It’s just perfection. I missed that window 😉

Absolutely beautiful!! I wonder where Hilda found that cameo? She looks like the vintage ponytail Barbies!! Did you get my e-mail address? 🙂 I can’t come visit for awhile, but would love to sometime………

Yes, I am wondering where she got it?!? I would like to get some of those as I sew for the vintage, original Barbie and the repros.

I love your photos. They are so amazing. I was wondering for the dolls without stands how did you make them stand.

Hi Heather! I am glad you like the photos. 🙂 I use a number of different methods to alleviate the need for stands. In this particular post, the doll is simply leaning against the window frame. If you photograph it from a good angle, she doesn’t look like she is leaning on anything. In other photos, I use rigging and wires that I photoshop out in post processing. I have also used stands that I just photoshop out but it can be a lot of work. I prefer the leaning method when I can get away with it 🙂
