Rock Steady Romain
I keep looking at his name and hoping I am spelling it correctly. My husband has taken to calling him affectionately “lettuce boy”. He has a reason to gripe as I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to style and photograph this guy and my husband has had to listen to it LOL. Let’s face the facts folks..he came out of the box with clumpy and uninspired hair. Certainly not what the promo’s promised but I prefer to look at it as a challenge…so like a dog with a bone…I set to work. I know I didn’t hit the mark of the look of the promo shots but I am happy with the doll and photos. I think he is handsome and love the face sculpt. Just wish I had a smidge more bang length and I am too much of a wimp to reroot.
If you want a little taste of what I was listening to during this photo shoot and post processing, check out the playlist on the right hand side of the blog .
Wow, you did a great job with his hair! I’m afraid to re-root as well so I’m crossing my fingers that when he’s finally here the hair will be perfect, LOL. Actually I figure I’ll just rinse and tousle with Bed Head for that “just woke up” look.

He sure doesn’t look like the promos, but you did a awesome job with the hair and your photography is impeccable! I’m a fan!

You nailed his hair restyle and these photos, Rebecca!
Mine also needs a coif-redo….( He had a “Something About Mary” issue going on)…
but now I’m inspired. Thanks…these are GREAT shots.

LOL! Okay…just about spit my coffee out..can’t keep a straight face when someone says “Somthing about Mary” because we all know what scene we are talking about. Thank you for the great laugh and the lovely comments my dear. Can’t wait to see your inspiring photos.

I did go and look at him on ebay after your initial post and recoiled in horror to see the hair on some of those guys. Good to know that it’s fixable. On the very off chance that I brought one home, he’d have to come to your house for a style session Rebecca. lol
And I can’t help but wonder if his name is pronounced “ro-mahn” like you would pronounce Alain. But he’ll always be lettuce boy to me now, too. 😀

I know..it was sooooo alarming when I opened that box. Then I took a swig of wine, pulled myself together…and got to work. LOL! He is getting cuter and cuter every day too. The Salon de Berry is at your disposal.
