Ooh La La Indeed!!
The WClub Poppy Parker Exclusive arrived just after I returned from Barbiecon a few weeks ago. As with most conventions, I have spent the last couple of weeks going through my acquired treasures and getting over “The convention cold”. When you put around 1,000 people together in a ballroom for multiple events, and these same people get on average 4-5 hours of sleep a night…there is bound to be illness. So… now I am on the mend, I managed to snap some images of this new Poppy Parker and get them ready for the blog.

This one comes to this collector WAY better than the promo shots promised. And the promo shots were pretty darn good. She is simply stunning! Love, Love, Love her.
Love the accessories with this giftset! Lot’s of mix and match options.
I recently had a new logo designed for my main photography business and wanted to try it out on some of the doll shots too. Not too bad Thank you Daniel at Photologo!!
For those of you awaiting the beginning of the series of posts on the blogging and doll photography presentation I did at Barbiecon…fear not. It should be up starting this Friday, August 19th. For those of you who did attend the class, the images in this post were taken using the “light bouncing” technique I talked about.
I love your blog and photography, Rebecca! And I concur with almost every one of your doll critiques on this particular Poppy, and previous doll reviews, too.
Mostly, in direct contrast to another well-known doll blogger, I appreciate your positive attitude toward each doll, even those that may not be your personal favorites.
I can’t wait to receive my own “Ooh La La;” she will come along with my other Poppies I am lucky to be receiving via the lottery!
Keep up your wonderful work! You are an asset to the doll collecting community, especially to those of us who treasure keeping and displaying our dolls, rather than purchasing them to make money on a secondary market.
Kindly,
Marsha

Now this is indeed a compliment! Thank you very much Marsha. I have been accused in the past of being a bit of a Polyanna so it is gratifying to hear that there is a contingent of positive thinkers out there. 🙂 Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and certainly to each is own. I am glad the blog is a positive place where you can feed your love of this hobby. I thank you for your very lovely comment and validation of what I do. It is very much appreciated.

This might be my favorite PP gift set. That white platinum hair and red lip – wow. Love mine. ANd, as always, your pictures do her justice.

I love your blog and your pictures are perfection! I can’t wait to get my Ooh la la. Until then I love gazing at your photos.
I do save your expert photos in my Pinterest Poppy acct. But I do not remove your watermark so others can see that the photo belongs to you. Let me know if saving your photos is inappropriate.

Thank you Lena! I am happy if people share my images on Pinterest…as long as it is linked back to the blog. Are you using the “pin it” button at the bottom of the post to pin these images? Either using that or another “pin it” app is the best way to “pin” the images correctly. I will be going into this in my Friday photography sessions going on from this Friday through September. Pining to Pinterest will be a whole blog post in and of itself 🙂
