Hello 2015!! I don’t know about you guys but I am really looking forward to a better year this year. I was trolling( cough…obsessing …cough) through Pinterest this morning as I sipped my coffee and I saw something that caught my interest. At the Integrity Toys convention this past October, they introduced a new friend of Victoire’s. Here name is Simonetta.

Here title is “La Ville Lumiere” or City of Light. She was a definite purchase for me at convention and I am looking forward to photographing her. So classic…so chic. Today, I saw this photo from the Met’s archive.

Gorgeous !! I love the archival fashion inspired designs with great craft & workmanship that go into making these dresses 😉 I wish that the Charles James’ gowns from the 40’s & 50’s would be a source of some inspiration for I.T.’s designers 😉

I agree 150%…no 200%…I could go higher 🙂 {Sigh} Just thinking of some Charles James inspired ball gowns from IT gives me goosebumps.

Love the doll. Nice try on the dress, but the sash might have been more supple in another material.

Yes, I see your point. A different fabric perhaps would have draped better. Still like the design though.

Sometime in the next month or so I believe. They stated that they would be starting it later this year and in all years after. In the past, they have always announced around the end of December. Now it sounds like it will be sometime in January. I will definitely have an announcement on the blog as soon as I am able to say anything 🙂
