Making a Rare Appearance Dania
WClubbers waited an exorbitant 6 months for this one. Yep, I checked the numbers…first deposit went in on this baby around December 3rd of 2014. Was she worth the wait? I honestly have to say…YES. The promo shots on this doll had expectations levels extremely high so I was very skeptical on whether it would deliver. I am happy to say Rare Appearance Dania delivers and then some. This lady exudes chic upscale class.
I will say it again…this is one classy lady. She comes with a pair of grey gloved hands which I adore. Here jewelry is simple, classic and understated. The handbag and shoes are TO DIE FOR.
I had WAY too much fun shooting this one.

I love your outdoor photos. And your doll is gorgeous! Such a classic beauty… Mine is on her way to me but it’s a long way from the USA to Paris…

Yes! it is always a bonus when the IRL product meets or exceeds the proto photos. Hope Agnes comes out as well. 🙂

All that and more! Some sites have complained about her brows, your photos totally dismiss their claims.

Thank you Barb! I should have talked about the fur in the blog post…my bad. I found that at a Barbie convention. It is a OOAK and I have never rarely had the chance to use it in photos. When I saw this Dania, she just screamed for this coat. I know it is summer and all…but had to use it. 🙂

LOVE your photos – the coat just brings that little extra luxe to the ensemble. Now, she looks like the rich, elegant lady she is. I am not eager to see the rest of the line and Agnes. (I bet a lot of people who didn’t order the event Veronique are re-thinking that choice!)

Thank you so much Robyne. I am LOVING your photos as well. I love shooting in early morning or dusk lighting and I see you do as well. The light is so special at those times. I agree, it will be interesting to see how the rest of the line shapes up this year.

You said it, this lady is ultra chic and was definitely worth the wait. She is workin’ the glam factor in your photos. The addition of the fur coat was a nice touch, something she would clearly be okay with adding to her wardrobe :).
