A Glimmer of Inspiration
Many of you may remember the platinum edition BFC exclusive Glimmer of Gold™ Barbie® Doll. I was lucky enough to be able to get this one.

While engaging in my favorite pastime {cough} obsession {cough}, I came across a photo on Pinterest (Thank you Ana Labato!! http://pinterest.com/anaquell/the-world-of-fashion/)that showed me a likely inspiration for this doll design.

Cool! And since I know a friend of mine is anticipating the arrival of the platinum edition AA Golden Gala into their collection, I took some photos with her in the Glimmer of Gold fashion. And it’s in THE window.

OMG!!!! I absolutely am salivating at GG in that dress. It’s like it was made for her. BTW she is one of my holy grails, so congrats on both of your fantastic girls!!

Thank you Yolanda! I was realizing here recently that I have not redressed this beauty and photographed her. She wears pretty much everything very well. I am feeling a whole photo session coming up with her as the model. Hope she finds her way to your collection some day. She is a stunner!

Wny Thank you Sir Urrggh. 😉 I may keep her in this outfit for a while. She is keeping me company on my desk for now and I just keep staring at her…..so beautiful. A rediscovered treasure in the collection. Don’t you just love it when that happens.

It’s the best! I used to have her and traded her even though I loved her. The one and only time I’ve done that. I traded her for a very rare european store display sign. Ultimately she’s replaceable while the sign is not. But I’ve been trolling ebay lately and if convention wasn’t around the corner, I probably would have snatched one up. lol
